V-Dub Kidz Club

Keep your little ones occupied with all sorts of ‘hands-on’ fun on Saturday and Sunday! Pull up a pew and get stuck in making jewellery, key-rings and being creative with fabric and pottery painting, too! For the more energetic kids there will be bouncy animals, skipping ropes, hula hoops and much more.

For children of all ages, there is plenty to make, see and do!

Stone arrow tip making - free
Join us and try your hand at shaping a piece of slate into an arrowhead or spear point, just like our ancestors did thousands of years ago. Use a hammer stone to carefully break up your slate, then wield a piece of sandstone to shape your tool to perfection. Its a journey back in time to the Stone Age, and it’s bound to be a blast for all ages.

Clay lamps - free
Join us for our clay shaping sessions. This hands-on activity promises toget your hands mucky in the best way possible. Delve into the fascinating world of pottery. Learn the ancient techniques of shaping clay pots, similar to those used in the Stone Age to carry fats or oils. Discover how to fashion a natural wick and create a small lamp that you can proudly take home with you. It’s a chance to immerse your- self in history while indulging in the joy of craftsmanship. Get ready to travel back in time and immerse yourself in the Stone Age experience! Visit our dress-up station and transform back into your very own Stone Age ancestor. Slip into traditional clothing and accessories to complete your look, then capture the moment with a selfie using your phone. Stone Age necklaces/Talismans - small fee payable
Get ready to channel your inner cave person and craft an awesome piece of Stone Age jewellery or a talisman! This hands-on activity invites you to tap into the power of natural materials to create a unique item to treasure. Using a variety of natural materials you’ll have the opportunity to fashion your own Stone Age talisman for protection to wear throughout the festival. Use ancient tools such an innovative pump drill to bring your creation to life.

Arrow making - small fee payable
Embark on a hands-on adventure and craft your very own primitive arrow using slate, feathers, and authentic primitive glue! Under expert guidance, you’ll learn to create glue using a recipe dating back to the Stone Age. Then, you’ll use this to bind feathers and shape your own slate tip arrowhead, ensuring your arrow is both functional and authentic. Let your imagination soar as you create a unique arrow to take home and treasure.

Dutch arrow throwingsmall fee payable
Before the arrival of the bow and arrow, our ancestors honed their skills in Dutch arrow/atal atal throwing, and now it’s your turn to try your hand at this ancient technique. Step up to the challenge and see if you have what it takes to master this traditional form of projectile throwing. For a small fee you’ll receive 3 arrows to test your skill and aim in our exciting Dutch arrow throwing activity! Can you hit the bullseye and win a prize? Join us at our target range and put your accuracy to the test. Are you ready to prove your skill and claim victory?

Dog Show

Our Camper Jam family dog show is the highlight of the weekend for our four legged friends! With a number of classes to choose from, including the all-important fancy dress, there’s something for everyone!

This year’s fancy dress theme is FAIRYTALES in keeping with our Saturday theme!

For safety reasons we have to limit the amount of entries as we do every year – but we still have lots of categories and there is plenty of opportunity to get involved. Complete the form below to take part.

We are no longer taking bookings online for the dog show. Most categories are fully booked but you are free to enquire at our information stand on the day.

Tree Climbing Experiences

We've teamed up with the largest provider of recreational tree climbing in the country, The Big Tree Climbing Company to offer unique experiences in the trees at Camper Jam for the whole family. 

They will teach you how to enter a tree’s canopy using ropes, knots and karabiners, whilst being securely attached in a harness at all times. Once at the top of the tree you will gain an experience which can’t be found on the ground and if you’re feeling brave you could try some branch walking before returning safely to the ground. 

A small fee is payable for this activity.

Ukulele Workshops

Uke Can Do It! Join the wonderful ringmaster Gacko for a musical hour of ukulele playing! Perfect chords or questionable sounds, it’s the taking part that counts! Go future Indie stars!

Handcrafted Campervan Jewellery

Get crafty with Handcrafted Jewellery by Jo! Workshops will be running Thursday-Sunday in the Big Top tent.

Please note, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. A small fee is payable for this activity.

 
 
 

Fun for all ages, making bracelets and necklaces with a fun Camper Van theme! Use silver plated and coloured wires and colour your wooden Camper Van charm to your liking. Wear your jewellery with pride all weekend!

 

Make your own Campervan Tree of Life window or wall hanging!
All tools and materials are provided and you will be able to choose from a selection of beads to personalise your camper to your own theme.
Jo will be on hand at all times to provide tuition; This workshop is suitable for beginners aged 12+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, as they will be using some tools and learning basic wirework.
The tree is 10cm in diameter, and is made from aluminium wire which is soft and easy to use, and there will be a selection of beads to choose from and finished with a ribbon. At the end of the session you will have your own personalised keepsake to take home and display!

 

Make a Campervan Dream Catcher!
Decoupage a Dream Catcher Campervan with sponge painting, adding beads feathers and ribbon, all with Jo’s help!
Suitable for children and adults. Children will need to be supervised at all times. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Floral Crown Making

Perfect Petals UK is a luxury, award-winning florist using British blooms. The creative team provides a bespoke service to ensure you have maximum fun making a floral crown! Your unique floral arrangement is crafted with your theme or style, with your vision at the heart of each design. Get creative with Perfect Petals at Camper Jam!

Bright British blooms, scented and dried flowers will be on display for you to pick your favourite and be taught to create a bespoke floral crown. There will be hourly tutorials with a wide selection of flower bank to choose from. 

Workshops will be running in the Big Top from 10am! A small fee is payable for this activity.

Fancy getting active at Camper Jam?

Head over to One Adventure and get involved in a whole host of activities. For a small fee we'll have archery to rock climbing, laser tag to tomahawk throwing, channel your inner wild and get competitive with your family!

These activities are booked on the day in the Family Fun Zone. A small fee is payable for this activity.

Saturday between 9am - 8pm.
Sunday between 9am - 4pm.

You can park your vehicle, pop your for sale details on and get seen by over 20,000 visitors in one weekend.
If you’d like to register your vehicle for sale at Camper Jam, just pop over top our Information Tent and register on the day.
Each vehicle costs £15 to advertise, they must also have a Camper Jam vehicle pass to be on site. This is mainly aimed at those selling their current camper.
